League Of Fire have teamed up with The Local Food Festival to bring you The Windsor Food & Chilli Festival 2024. Taking place at the picturesque Windsor View Lakes on 29th & 30th June, prepare your taste buds for an unforgettable weekend of fiery fun. With a mix of music, food, and scorching hot sauce, this year’s festival is gearing up to be the hottest event of the summer.
The highlight of Saturday’s festivities is the eagerly anticipated League Of Fire’s European Title Chilli Eating Belt Match. Hosted by former World Champion Shahina ‘UK Chilli Queen’ Waseem, witness Europe’s boldest and bravest pepper-eating competitors go head-to-head in a battle for chilli dominance.
Among the contenders is reigning champion Giancarlo ‘Jack Pepper’ Gasparotto from Italy, ready to defend his title against challengers from six other European countries including Poland, Spain, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czechia, and the UK. Get ready to cheer on your favourite competitors and expect nothing short of jaw-dropping feats of pepper-eating prowess as they push their taste buds to the limit in pursuit of glory and the coveted Champion’s Belt.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there! On Sunday, the festival continues with the ‘Road To The European Belt’ contest, where the winner automatically qualifies to compete in the next European Belt Match. As well as fresh hot & superhot peppers the chilli eating contests each feature ‘Hot Sauce Rounds’ and these are being provided by ‘Chilli of the Valley’ & ‘I am Döner’. There will also be amateur contests for the general public to take part in, including a spicy hot wings challenge.
