My name is Royce McCain, born and raised in Durban, South Africa.

Durban - hot weather, hot food, hot people.

Since I can remember I've always loved spicy food, I'm sure the love of hot food came from my dad rubbing my mouth with peri peri chillies when I would talk back to him.

My wife and I bought our 1st house 3 years back and that's when i grew my 1st cayenne  and serrano chillies. I then discovered there were hotter chillies out there then the habanero and that intrigued me.

It's now my passion growing, eating and sharing my love for chillies with everyone I meet.
