About
My name is Brianna from Sydney city Australia. Many know me as the Chilli Queen which is a name given to me in Febuary 2015 by the chilli community. Many people in public and those who know me simply call me "Chilli". I have always loved chilli and had no idea I could eat crazy amounts of chilli until I met Neil Smith in January 2015. He suggested I enter the Sydney Chilli Challenge which was to be my first ever chilli contest win held on 25th Febuary 2015.
After this event I decided to make some YouTube videos and ate 15 Carolina Reapers at home on video.
The next year 2016 again the last Saturday of Febuary I attended the event and was told they didn't want me to enter the eating contest because i would win. I suggested that I do a reaper challenge first to give everyone a head start and the organisers agreed.
I then ate 21 Carolina Reapers as a demonstration and then 45 minutes later entered the actual eating contest. My opponents ate milder Thai Chillies and gradually built up to a Habanero and the final round a Bhut Jolokia but I was given Bhut Jolokia for all rounds and I took the win after eating 8 Ghost Chillies.
The next year 2017 I was not allowed to enter the contest so a second Reaper Challenge was arranged with the awesome David Glass to challenge me head to head. at 14 reapers David had to withdraw and I decided to try to go as far as I could. the organisers told me after I had eaten 23 Reapers to stop and try for more the following year. so I tapped out at 23 Reapers.
In 2018 I was again banned from entering the eating contest and in the spirit of the charity event i did an individual demonstrstion of 16 Carolina Reapers. If i had been allowed to enter I would easily have won my 5th event.
In 2019 I was invited to the Inaugural Puckerbutt Chilli Eating Contest and finished in 8th place. I had not eaten any superhot chillies since the 2018 Sydney Chilli Challenge on the last Saturday of Febuary 2018.
